Mr.Nabhan Akeel is the Chairman/Group CEO of Limra Holdings Limited(LHL) which is the group/parent company of successful ventures. Being a Visionary, self-made chief architect , self-motivated and resourceful senior level executive with verifiable year-after-year success achieving revenue, profit, and business growth objectives within start-up, turnaround, and rapid-change environments. Extensive experience with highly engineered systems, which require deep understanding of critical business drivers in multiple markets and industries; highly successful in building relationships with upper-level decision makers, seizing control of critical problem areas, and delivering on customer commitments. Experienced in leading and growing four companies dealing in IT, software solutions, branded software products and Mother & Baby care sectors to make it a dynamic and progressive organizations. Possessing an Engineering Degree from Moratuwa University, Sri Lanka and has tremendous knowledge in Management, Accounting and Logistic with experience up to 25 years in the field with profitable relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders across the world.

Mr.Saman Wimalaratne
Group Executive Director

Saman Wimalaratne counts over 10 years’ of (senior managerial of which over 5 years at board level) experience in senior positions such as, Head of Corporate Planning, Group Executive Director, Senior consultant to BOD, Non-Executive Director, Head of Finance and administration, and more than 5 years of experience as a financial and management consultant to various boards of blue-chip companies in Sri Lanka and overseas. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK and Certified Public Accountant of Australia.

In his capacity as a financial consultant, Saman has successfully completed a wide range of assignments in different industries to restructure financially distressed companies and to make them sustainable and viable business enterprises while achieving the anticipated growth rates in their respective fields.

Saman Wimalaratne was involved in strategizing; formulating and implementing payment plans to settle creditors of one of the largest companies to face a crisis, in the Financial Services Industry in Sri Lanka in the capacity of the project leader. He has functioned as a project leader in establishing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks for the market leaders in different industries in Sri Lanka.

He has been engaged in establishing systems and procedures, setting up corporate planning and budgetary frameworks, internal auditing, risk management functions and training of professionals. Saman is a much sought after trainer for planning, budgeting and finance for blue chip companies and multinationals.

Saman has also actively participated in company valuations, feasibility studies, corporate planning in different industries to facilitate mergers, acquisitions and buyouts.

Including structuring project financing, trade financing and other finance facilities to fund new projects and financially distressed companies liaising with banks, financial institutions and prospective investors and structuring mergers and acquisitions.
