Senior Executive – Account Receivable & Credit Control

Meet with debtors regularly to discuss and resolve outstanding payments.
Track and monitor outstanding debts to ensure timely collections.
Plan and execute strategies to recover payments effectively.
Locate and contact debtors to negotiate payment arrangements.
Comply with legal requirements when initiating unavoidable legal actions.
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Negotiate payoff deadlines and create tailored payment plans.
Build trust and maintain strong relationships with debtors.
Identify system inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.

Qualifications:

Partly qualified in ICASL / CIMA / ACCA.
A University Degree in Accounting or Finance is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ERP systems and the ability to work in a computerized environment.
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, processes, and practices.

Soft Skills:

A team player with high integrity and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
